QUESTION:

How can CBD Oil help with stomach problems, pain & gastric problems?

ANSWER:

Main problems that people have when it comes to the abdominal region is cramping which causes pain. So, CBD has anti-spasmodic properties, meaning that it helps to relax muscles. Your intestines are surrounded by muscle, which can cramp up and cause pain. The CBD helps to relax those muscle, especially with conditions such as Crohn’s Disease & Ulcerative Colitis.

QUESTION:

Could you provide further information for dosing CBD Oil on certain conditions?

ANSWER:

CBD dosing is not based on condition. CBD dosing varies from person to person.

For example, I had 2 patients. Both had insomnia, but were otherwise healthy. Both were of similar body size and body shape. In other words, they had similar BMI (Body Mass Index). Both tried the exact same CBD product. One patient needed 2.5 mg of CBD to fall asleep, while the other patient needed 50 mg of CBD to fall asleep.

There are several factors that come into play when it comes to figuring out the appropriate dose. One such factor is strength. With a marijuana-derived product the ratio of CBD and THC need to be considered. With a hemp-derived product, the total amount of CBD should be considered. Currently, on the market, on average, you’ll find anywhere from 250 mg to 1000 mg of CBD in a 1 ounce bottle. The other factor is dose. There’s a very methodical process to figure out dosing for each individual. The final factor is frequency of dosing. You don’t want to dose too often, but you also don’t want to be dosing not often enough.
